Russian baritone (1858-1919) who sang in the world premieres of operas by Tchaikovsky and Rubinstein.  Beautiful Imperial-style cabinet photograph shown as himself, signed by him on verso with a short sentiment, inscribed to conductor Edoardo Cabella.  Photo by photographer A.M. Ivansky, Moscow.  Size is 4.2 x 8.4 inches, some damage on the corners, pinholes in all four borders, otherwise in very good condition.  Very Rare!
