American baritone (1911-1960), a much-celebrated singer from the Metropolitan Opera cast in the 1940s and 1950s, outstanding in Verdian roles, who died during a performance of Verdi's La Forza del Destino. Signed photograph, shown as himself, young. Size is 4.5 x 6.75 inches, in very good condtion.
