German tenor (1823-1893). 

Large album page signed by him, dated in Vienna, 1870, with a four-lines text quote at the top, written in German by him.  Text translation is as follows: "My life has always been dedicated to art.  All my strength I gave to its care.  The Holy Goddess gave me her favour, it has always been rewarded, it has always been achieved."  Size is 12.75 x 9.3 inches, in excellent condition.
