Austrian-Swedish soprano (1868-1952) whose birth name was "Pheobe" Strakosch. Her singing teacher was Carlotta Patti, whose sister Amalia married Strakosch's uncle Maurice. Her father, Ferdinand, as well as her uncles Maurice and Max Strakosch, were all impresarios.
