Belgian born American mezzo (1865-1957), known as "the grand lady of the chorus at the Metropolitan Opera House", sang in opera in both Europe and the United States for over sixty-three years. Signed vintage photo, shown as the Noble Madame in the first act of Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches, rare historical item in excellent condition!
