Sauret, Emile - Vintage Cabinet Photograph

French violinist (1852-1920) and composer, who wrote over 100 violin pieces, including a famous cadenza for the first movement of Paganini's First Violin Concerto. Beautiful unsigned cabinet photograph of the violinist by C. Brasch, Berlin, 1892, handwritten on both sides by another hand. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, minor damage over the upper border, stains over the upper border of verso, in overall very good condition.
