American cartoonist, notable for his work on King Features Syndicate's Popeye comic strip. Original drawing of Popeye (his most famous character), signed, inscribed with a short sentiment and dated in 1979. Ink stamp with his name on verso. Size is 8.4 x 10.9 inches, in excellent condition.
