Leoncavallo, Ruggero - Signed Photograph 1918

Italian opera composer (1857-1919), well-known for his masterpiece opera Pagliacci and other works, including Zaza and his own La Boheme. 

Fantastic photograph signed and dated by him in Viareggio in August 1918 (one year before his death), mounted on an original mat, photo by G. Magrini, Viareggio, Italy. Composer signed on the mat, below his actual photo, which is 3.9 x 5.6 inches in size, while total mat size is 5.9 x 8.1 inches, in excellent condition.
