Rubini, Giovanni - Persiani, Fanny - Persiani, Giuseppe - Lablache, Luigi - Signed Album Page 1842-43

Exceptional rare vintage item:  album page signed on the front side by Giovanni Batista Rubini, star Italian tenor (1794-1854), who performed in many premieres of operas by Bellini and Donizetti including the former's I Puritani, Italian soprano Fanny Persiani (1812-1867) who created the title roles in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor and Pia de Tolomei, her husband Italian composer Giuseppe Persiani (1799-1869) signed by the first two dated in London in 1842, with the composer's signature dated in London in 1843. Additional signature on verso is by the famous Italian-born bass Luigi Lablache (1794-1858), who created the title role in Donizetti's Don Pasquale in 1843 and also appeared in the world premiere productions of Verdi's I Masnaderi and Bellini's I Puritani and is also dated in London in 1842.  Page size is 7 x 7.75 inches, minor rust over the edges, otherwise in very good condition.
