Larger size, beautiful, original silk program for an opera performance at the Royal Opera House in London, celebrating the visit of the German Emperor and his wife, in presence of Queen Victoria, July 8th, 1891.
Performance included 1 act from each Lohengrin, Romeo et Juliette, Orfeo and Les Huguenots, with some very famous singers including Melba, Emma Eames, the De Reszke Brothers (Jean and Edouard), Albani, Bauermeister and the Ravogli sisters (Giulia and Sofia).
Size is 14.5 x 21.75 inches, minor stains, folds, in overall very good condition.
