Autograph letter signed, dated by him on verso in July 1839, to organist and musicologist Karl F. Becker (1775-1849), who collaborated with him in a music publication. One page, in German, sold with translation (see picture). Schumann refers to matters related to their collaboration in a music magazine. Size is 8.4 x 7.25 inches, light age toning, folds, with a small area of restored paper loss, clearly visible ink, in good condition.
ALSO INCLUDED is a cabinet-style photograph of a portrait of the composer, from the series of Bruckmann portrait series, 4.5 x 6.75 inches, in very good condition.
