Russian composer (1891-1953), pianist and conductor, and one of the most important music creators of the first half of the 20th century. 

Fabulous autograph letter signed, dated by him in 1938, one sheet written on both sides, with music quotes. Prokofiev writes to music critic and biographer John N. Burk (1891-1967), who worked creating program notes for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, discusses about the premiere of his works and other music-related issues.

Letter is in English with a very small portion in French, and includes full transcription. Minor repaired cracks and a small smudge in ink on the border, in overall excellent condition.
