Fabulous autograph letter signed, dated by him in 1938, one sheet written on both sides, with music quotes. Prokofiev writes to music critic and biographer John N. Burk (1891-1967), who worked creating program notes for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, discusses about the premiere of his works and other music-related issues.
Letter is in English with a very small portion in French, and includes full transcription. Minor repaired cracks and a small smudge in ink on the border, in overall excellent condition.
