Mascagni, Pietro - Signed Photograph 1904

Italian opera composer (1863-1945), mostly remembered today for his operas Cavalleria Rusticana and L'Amico Fritz among other creations.

Original cabinet photograph of the composer by Gigoni & Bossi (Milan) signed and inscribed with a short sentiment by Mascagni to conductor Moise Sinigaglia, dated in Torino, May 18, 1904.  Size is 4.3 x 6.4 inches, minor pinholes, mounting damage on verso, in overall good condition.
