Pears, Peter - Signed Photograph

English tenor (1910-1986), closely associated with composer Benjamin Britten for nearly 40 years. Pears created the role of the fisherman Peter Grimes in the opera of the same name by Britten in 1945.

Signed publicity photograph, shown as himself, dated in 1959. Size is 3.5 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.
