Palombini, Vittoria - Autograph Letter Signed

Italian mezzo-soprano (1903-1968), appeared as Mère Jeanne in the world premiere performances  of Poulenc's ‘’Les Dialogues des Carmélites’’ at La Scala, Milan in 1957, and also appeared in the 1952 premiere of I. Pizzetti’s ‘’Cagliostro. 

Autograph letter signed, 2 pages, dated in Milan in 1956, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Written to the well-known opera collector Leo Riemens. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, some rips and tears on various edges of the document, but otherwise in good condition.
