Russian classical violinist, violist, and conductor (1908-1974), considered one of the most famous string performers of the Soviet Era and one of the preeminent violinists of the 20th century. He was the dedicatee of numerous violin works, including both of Dmitri Shostakovch's violin concerti and the Violin Concerto by Aram Khachaturian. 

Signed album page, written in Russian, sold untranslated. Size is 4.25 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.
