Swedish star soprano (1918-2005), world-famous for her interpretations of dramatic roles in Wagner, Puccini and Richard Strauss operas. 

Set of 6 handwritten signed postcards, each written in English and signed as "Birgit", and dated between 1965-77. These refer to recent performances, including a triumph in Moscow, Bayreuth rehearsals, and similar matters. Size of each is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately.
