Mongini, Pietro - Signed Photograph

Italian tenor (1828-1874), sang Radames in the world premiere production of Verdi's Aida in Cairo in 1871, also performed a range of Rossini and Verdi roles at La Scala, Milan and other European houses. Signed vintage mini-cabinet photograph, shown as himself, signed and inscribed on verso, inscribed to the Spanish soprano Melchiorre Vidal, dated in Madrid in 1864.
