Clip (probably fromĀ a letter) with his signature, dated by him in 1876, with a short greeting.Ā Size is 6 x 2.75 inches, in excellent condition.
Autographs and memorabilia of Mussorgsky are exceedingly rare, almost impossible to find -this is the first one we have had in 15 years in business!
ALSO INCLUDED are a Russian postcard with a portrait of the composer, dated on the back in 1948, and a 1 ruble coin from the former USSR, 1989, showing MussorgskyĀ“s face on verso. The postcard is 3.6 x 5.3 inches, the coin is 1.2 inches in diameter, both are in excellent condition.
