Rare autograph letter signed by him, no year but from around 1831-1833 to Isidore Cambiaggio, written in Italian. Glinka spent 3 years in Italy, during which he wrote this letter. The letter mentions his poor health and the difficulties in meeting with a friend.Â
One folded page, open (unfolded) size is 9.8 x 8.1 inches, small loss of paper where the lacquer seal was, overall aging and some stains, in very good condition.
Autograph material by Glinka is extremely scarce, one of the rarest items in classical music!.
