Two pieces of the original curtain from the old Metropolitan Opera House, built in 1882-83 and demolished in 1967, sold together with a fine photo postcard of the building.Â
One of the pieces (3.4 x 2.5 inches) was issued in a limited edition with LP records and is numbered, the other, larger piece (1.5 x 9.75 inches) was sold separately, both belong to the curtain of the Met Opera House that was demolished in 1967.Â
