Original piece of moulding from the old Met!. After the Met Opera moved out to a new building at the Lincoln Center in 1966 - where it still is - the old Met building (1883-1966) was demolished in later 1966-early 1967. Some parts were sold on side, including this piece of moulding or stucco with the golden decorations.
On verso, there is an original photograph taken during the demolition, which is attached to the back, but can be removed.Â
