Italian opera composer (1863-1945), mostly remembered today for Cavalleria Rusticana and L`Amico Fritz among other creations.  Set of 2 playbills (one dated in 1922, the other has no year) announcing opera performances of Donizetti's La Favorita and Isabeau & Il Guarany, conducted by the Italian composer at Teatro Municipal de Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  La Favorita playbill's size is 11.8 x 18.75; Isabeau/Il Guarany's size is 9.2 x 26 inches, both have loss of paper at the top and minor cracks.
