Markova, Alicia - Signed Book "A Legend of British Ballet"

English dancer (1910-2004), first from this country to be titled Prima Ballerina Assoluta. Specially remembered for her Giselle, The Dying Swan and Les Sylphides, as well as appearing in Hollywood movies. 

Signed photo book "Alicia Markova - A Legend of British Ballet", with many black and white pictures of her career, 9.5 x 11.75 inches, soft covers. Markova signed and inscribed this book on the title page, dating the autograph in 1957. Some wear on spine, otherwise in very good condition.
