Playbill for an early performance of Verdi's MacBeth at Gran Teatro La Fenice on February 12th, 1848. Opera was premiered eleven months earlier in Florence, cast includes Felice Varesi (1813-1889), the creator of the title role. Size is 16.75 x 11.6 inches, folds, minor rust stains, otherwise in very good condition.
