Russian ballerina (1891-1981), famous during the early 20th century, trained at the Imperial Ballet School and toured with the Ballets Russes; and wife of the English economist John Maynard Keynes.
Two receipts signed by her for 100 pounds as a payment from Diaghilev in 1921. Sizes are 6.1 x 7.75 inches and 5.75 x 4.6 inches, both in excellent condition.
