Lubin, Germaine - Signed Photograph in Ariane et Barbe Bleue

Star French soprano (1890-1979), one of the greatest Wagnerian sopranos during the 1930's and 40's, who had many complications due to an alleged association with the Germans during the occupation of France. Signed photograph, shown as Ariane in Paul Dukas's opera Ariane et Barbe-Bleue, inscribed and signed only as "Germaine". Size is 7 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition.
