Lhevinne, Josef - Large Signed Photograph 1934

Russian pianist and piano teacher (1874-1944), highly admired in his time. Large size photograph, with a sticker on verso by photographer Vajda Pal, Budapest. Photo is inscribed to a pupil called Edward Gleason, with Lhevinne shown still young, dated in New York in 1934, has a long sentiment. 

Size is 10 x 15.1 inches (total mat size where photograph is mounted), actual photo is 7.6 x 11.25 inches, signature and sentiment are entirely written on the photographer´s mat. Some fading, but still very visible, a crease on the bottom left corner, borders are a bit irregular, probably cut from a larger size, in overall very good condition. Rare on this size!
