Lauri-Volpi, Giacomo - Signed La Scala Contract + Unsigned Photograph in Turandot

Star Italian tenor (1892-1979), one of the greatest voices of the first half of the 20th century. 

Signed contract for the 1929-30 season at La Scala, Milan, typed on 4 pages, signed by Lauri-Volpi on the last page, discussing his singing both Verdi's Il Trovatore and Rossini's William Tell during that season. Very rare historic item! 4 folded pages of 8.25 x 12 inches each, in excellent condition.
