German conductor (1891-1945) at the Vienna State Opera from 1920 to 1938 before moving to America.

Autograph note signed by him, dated in Vienna, December 18, 1923, where he quotes Franz Schubert’s Lied “An die Musik” (1817), with text from the poem of Franz von Schober. Size is 4.8 x 3.6 inches, some dirt stains, in overall excellent condition.
