German music writer (1813-1869) best known for his 1856 biography of Mozart. Autograph letter signed, written in Bonn, dated in 1868. 1 page, written in German, sold untranslated. Size is 5.5 x 7.5 inches, small stain at bottom of page far from text and signature, otherwise vintage item in excellent condition.
