French composer (1826-1888), called "The Strauss of Paris" -unrelated to Vienna's Strauss family.

Autograph letter signed by him, written in French (sold untranslated). Size is 5.3 x 8.3 inches, 2 pages in both sides of a sheet, minor stains, folds, in very good condition.
