French-born English pianist (1836-1922), one of the first pianists to play recitals from memory. Autograph note signed, dated in 1889, 1 page with postage stamp at bottom, written in English,  total size of unfolded page is 7.25 x 9 inches, some scotch tape residue and small folds, otherwise in good condition.
