Autograph note in French signed by him, dated 23/V/1922, discussing Cassandra (1903), the most known opera by Vittorio Gnecchi: "... Why did you bother so much and what a hassle to be able to send me this rich object (...) You're the one who asked me several times to return the music to you. However, you need the choir and the soloist to judge your Cassandra...".
