Genee, Adeline - Signed Photograph Dancing 1912

Superstar Danish-British dancer (1878-1970), choreographer, and teacher who was founder-president of the Royal Academy of Dancing. Genee had a fabulous international career and gave her name to an annual competition, still active.

Large signed photograph, shown in performance, dated by her in 1912. Stamped on verso by Dover Street Studio photographers, London. Size is 9.25 x 11.5 inches, several creases and small tears on the far edges not affecting image and signature, otherwise in good condition. Beautiful vintage item!
