American soprano (1882-1951), whose full name was Emma Lucy Ann Gates Bowen. Signed vintage photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1919. Bold and clear handwriting and signature in attractive silver ink. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small crease on bottom right, otherwise in excellent condition.
