Autograph letter signed, no year but mail stamped on verso in 1839, to an unknown recipient (Vicomte Valph), about a dinner the night before and a financial debt with this person. One page, in French, sold with a transcription and translation, 5.4 x 8 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.Ā
ALSO INCLUDED is a small postcard with a portrait of the composer, from the early 1900s, 3.4 x 5.5 inches, some silvering, in good condition.
