Austrian soprano (1878-1942) of Jewish origin, whose career developed during the early 1900s, then became a concert singer and teacher before her tragic murder during the Nazi Holocaust at a concentration camp in Belorussia near Minsk in 1942.

Signed postcard photograph, shown in role, dated in Vienna in 1905. Her real handwritten signature is at the top of the photo, with an additional printed signature on the bottom right. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some silvering and mounting traces on verso, otherwise a beautiful historic item in excellent condition.
