Ferrani, Cesira - Vintage Cabinet Photo in role

Italian soprano (1863-1943), sang the world premiere performances of two of the most iconic roles in opera history, Mimì in the original 1896 production of Puccini's La Boheme, as well as the title role in the same composers Manon Lescaut in 1893. Extremely rare vintage cabinet photo, not signed but with a short phrase inscription. Shown in role, possibly as Mimi. Beautiful cabinet photo by Montabone, Turin. Size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, very slight paper loss on bottom left outside area of image, and some tape residue on top right, otherwise in excellent condition. Extremely rare collector's item!
