Austrian ballerina (1810-1884) who introduced theatricalized folk dance into ballet; celebrated for her spirited, spectacular dancing and technique.

Hand-colorized lithograph titled "Divertissement - The Painter's dream" featuring the celebrated ballerina. Size is 10.8 x 8.75 inches, some stains over the upper-left and left borders, otherwise in very good condition.

ALSO INCLUDED is a small 8-page sepia booklet about the film "Fanny Elssler" starred by Lilian Harvey. Size is 8.75 x 11.25 inches, in good condition.
