Guimont, Esther - Autograph Letter Signed

French socialité (1876-?), one of the courtesans who had the most influence on the Press and politics of her time. 

Autograph letter in French signed twice by her, dated July 19, 1877, was sent to a lady about her father's funeral. Size is 5.1 x 8 inches, three written pages in one folded sheet, some loss of paper in page 3.

ALSO INCLUDED is a short note addressed to a certain Mr. Le Ferrièrre, saying "so, I'm counting on you tomorrow, Tuesday"
