Autograph note signed by him, in French, undated but postmarked on verso in 1917. Satie writes toĀ famous French artist and writerĀ Valentine Gross (1887-1968), later named Valentine Hugo, who was a long time friend of him.
Satie regrets not having been able to meet her and inquiring about her health. One folded sheet, total size (open) is 4.75 x 7,6 inches, some loss of paper on the upper left and lower left corners, otherwise in excellent condition. Very rare!
ALSO INCLUDED is a nice photo postcard of the composer, 3.4 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.
