Acclaimed Italian tenor (1820-1889), originally named Enrico Danieli, who was well known for his command of very high notes and powerful voice, and creator of the role of Don Alvaro in the world premiere of Verdi's La Forza del Destino in 1862.

Beautiful Carte-de-Visite photo signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 2.4 x 3.8 inches, in excellent condition.
