Italian-American mezzo-soprano (1891-1989), who performed under the stage name of Stella de Mette, and sang in opera houses across Europe and the United States from the early 1910s to about 1942. Signed photograph, shown most likely in role. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 8 x 9.75 inches, some creases and bends, as well as rust stains on verso, otherwise in good condition.
