Wonderful biography of the star ballerina, published in 1932 by Victor DandrĆ© (1870-1944), her husband and manager - Pavlova had died in January of 1931 at age 49, this was an important biography published just after her passing, and contains many fine photographs. First edition by Cassell and Co. Limited, London, printed in Germany, 409 numbered pages and soft covers with blue cloth and a small color portrait of Pavlova, gilded titles on spine.Ā
Book has pencil markings and a short ink ownership marking on the frontend page, is 6.75 x 9.25 inches, in very good condition.
