American coloratura soprano and voice teacher (1924-2024), best known for originating the role of Lucy in Gian Carlo Menotti's The Telephone. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1949. Stamped on verso by photographer Peter Basch. Size is 8 x 10 inches, very small creases on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.
