Rare first edition, first issue, first state, of his book "Roughing It", fully illustrated, American Publishing Company, 1872. Original cloth, in a blue protecting case of half morocco (case not shown). Some wear on spine and edges, otherwise in very fine condition.Â
Included is a typed note explaining why this is a first edition, first issue and state. An extra photograph mentioned in the note is not part of the book and is not included. A total of 592 numbered pages, approx. 6 x 9 inches.Â
