Lot of 18Ā unsigned vintage photographs (16 cabinet-style, 1 photo postcard, 1 photograph) of circus freaks and performers including the siamese sisters (Millie & Christine), Herbert Barnett (dwarf), Mss. Clifford (sword swallower), Rose Wolff (violinist dwarf), The Shield brothers (giants), Big Hattie (fatwoman), L.J. Lee (stuntwoman), Prince Napoleon (dwarf) and others.
The only photograph is signed by dwarf Prince Napoleon, and is blind stamped by photographer DeHaven, Chicago. The photo postcard is signed by Les. Gelvas, probably one of the duo of acrobats depicted on it.
Sizes are 4.25 x 6.5 inches for the cabinet photos (approx., sizes are not the same); photo postcard is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, photo is 4 x 6 inches. All in very good condition or better.
