Superstar Italian tenor (1873-1921), signed postcard showing the Grand Opera House in Atlanta, Georgia, his sentimental letter and inscription along with signature are on verso, composed in the Bronx, New York, signed only with his last name, size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, very slight paper loss on bottom left and right corners, otherwise in excellent condition.

ALSO INCLUDED: a set of centennial stamps issued in 1973 on the 100th anniversary of Caruso's birth. One stamp containing an image of him as the Duke in Verdi's Rigoletto is mounted onto a 3.75 x 6.75 inch envelope which also contains an attractive drawing of Caruso as himself in honor of the centennial of his birth, as well as 2 centennial stamps without images.  Another 3.75 x 6.5 envelope has no images of Caruso but also contains 2 1973 commemorative stamps. Each of these are in excellent condition, not sold separately.
