Carelli, Emma - Large Photograph Signed 1901

Italian soprano (1877-1928) particularly associated with the dramatic roles of the verismo repertoire and the works of Richard Wagner. 

Larger size photograph mounted on a mat, shown probably in role, signed by her and inscribed to the tenor Arturo Scaramella with a short sentiment, dated in 1901.  Total size is 9.7 x 14 inches, actual photo is 6.6 x 9.7 inches, water damage over right margin, some creases, few peeling spots over photo, otherwise in very good condition.
